As parents of one interested in attending camp, you might wonder if your child is good enough as a ball player to attend. It matters not how little or how much ability one has, but only that he loves the game and the desire to play is there. As this is an instructional camp, to be happy in our program one must love to play baseball.
Bats, balls, catcher’s gear, batting helmets, bases, etc. will be furnished. Facilities include enclosed batting cages equipped with ATEC Casey pitching machines, batting tees, and toss machines. Campers must furnish their personal equipment such as shoes, gloves, caps, etc. An athletic trainer is a part of the camp staff and is on the field each day, available for the treatment of minor injuries.
Camp directors, as well as all staff members, live in the dorms with the campers to provide proper supervision. They will conduct bed checks, enforce curfew, inspect room clean up, and ensure consideration for others.
College Coaches and Professional Scouts will be invited to the workouts for the older campers and all campers will have lectures, instructional video and strength and flexibility lectures.
